Role Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will own the commercial strategy and partnership execution for Medicoder’s cutting-edge AI portfolio across hospital networks, clinical systems, and international healthcare institutions. You will spot emerging healthcare digitization trends, evaluate complex B2B deployment opportunities, and define our regional go-to-market roadmap. Working in lockstep with our Product and Engineering teams, you will drive the high-stakes partnerships that scale our business model, ease administrative burnout, and unlock massive ARR growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end commercial strategy and sales lifecycle for Medicoder’s AI and LLM solutions across local/international hospital and healthcare providers.
- Act as the primary commercial lead for critical healthcare accounts. Lead the full relationship lifecycle from initial prospecting and sourcing to negotiating complex, high-value enterprise agreements and piloting deployment.
- Be the pivotal link between clinical enterprise partners and Medicoder’s Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless technical implementation and strict adherence to hospital data infrastructure requirements.
- Construct data-driven business cases and ROI models that demonstrate how Medicoder accelerates workflow efficiency, reduces latency/costs, and eliminates administrative burnout for C-level healthcare executives.
- Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to navigate intricate hospital procurement cycles, complex commercial agreements, and data-privacy/HIPAA-related terms.
- Feed market intelligence, buyer friction points, and customer requirements directly back to the engineering and product teams to continuously fuel technical iterations and localized feature development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise business development, strategic partnerships, B2B SaaS sales, or healthcare management consulting.
- Experience selling complex software solutions to the healthcare industry (e.g., AI solutions, Electronic Health Record systems, or hospital enterprise software).
- Strong network within regional/international hospital groups, health tech buyers, and medical operations ecosystems.
- Basic understanding ofNatural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs) to effectively communicate technological capability and value to non-technical clients.
