Intellogic Technology is hiring a Project Engineer.

We build automation and digitalisation projects with our partners for manufacturers across Malaysia. We own our own Industrial Data Fabric / Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Platform called MACHHUB. Engineers here own whole projects, not slices of them, and decisions happen fast.

What the job actually is

Own the project from kickoff to handover. Design it, wire it, program it, commission it on site, hand it over. It is a hands on role. Expect to be in the workshop with a crimper as often as you are at a desk.

What we are looking for

• PLC and HMI programming. Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent.
• Reading schematics, sizing I/O, designing control panels
• Comfortable building and wiring panels. Layout, ferruling, terminations, point to point testing.
• Servo and motion control, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits
• Commissioning and fault finding on live equipment
• Preferred with experience with Robotics Programming and/or Integration.

What we will teach you

• Connecting machines to MACHHUB, our own IIoT platform
• Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, ProfiNet, FINS, Mewtocol, MC and other Industrial Protocols
• Node-RED and scripting (such as JavaScript and Python)
• Building applications with AI coding agents. This is how we develop software, and you will learn it here.

You do not need to be a software engineer. Basic comfort with data and an interest in learning the digital side is enough. The automation experience is what we are really hiring for. The rest we will build with you.

The basics

Around 3 years in machine automation or system integration. Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics. Own transport and happy to travel to sites nationwide. Based in Selangor.
