Role Description The IT Application Operation Specialist is responsible for the stable, secure, and efficient operation of business-critical applications in a remote, full-time capacity. Daily activities include monitoring application performance, resolving incidents and service requests, and providing second-level technical support to users and internal teams. The specialist coordinates application changes, updates, and deployments, and collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to analyze issues and optimize processes. The role involves documenting procedures, maintaining configuration and support records, and contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives. The specialist also assists with troubleshooting integrations, managing access and configurations, and participating in on-call or after-hours support when required.

Qualifications

• Strong Information Technology background with experience in application operation and infrastructure concepts.
• Application Support and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and escalate issues effectively.
• Analytical Skills to investigate incidents, interpret data, and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Understanding of Business Process and ability to align application functionality with operational needs.
• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident/change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant education such as a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with common enterprise applications, databases, integrations, and basic scripting or automation is a plus.
