Full Time Quality Control Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,200 in NSW Automation Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Job Summary / Purpose:

Performing inspections and measurements of incoming fabrication parts and components (IQC) and verifying production assembly processes (IPQC) to ensure adherence to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role ensures that all incoming materials and production processes are controlled through IQC and IPQC, guaranteeing compliance with standards and contributing directly to overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts and components according to inspection criteria and sampling plans.
• Record inspection results accurately in the drawings or forms.
• Report non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies found during inspection.
• Communicate with the quality team or purchasing regarding rejected parts or quality issues.
• Ensure inspected materials are handled, labelled, segregated, and stored appropriately.
• Performing In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) on production assembly work.
• Participate in internal audits or supplier quality improvement activities when needed.
• Prepare QC and 8D reports.
• Perform data recording, data analysis and reporting.
• Work on quality improvement projects.
• Work on efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
• Support production and maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area.
• Perform 5S, tidying and cleaning duties.

Academic and Trades Qualification:

• A recognized Certificate/Diploma in relevant field.

Work Experience and Skills:

• At least 1 years of working experience in the same related filed or in manufacturing field.
• Proficient in basic measurement techniques (e.g., use of callipers, gauges, and arithmetic calculations).
• Keen attention to detail.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
