Job Description
Responsibilities
· Execute client orders in USD government securities, sovereign/quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds.
· Provide timely pricing indications and market colour within approved guidelines (non-research) and in line with product scope and client classification.
· Apply best execution discipline and ensure accurate trade terms, confirmations, and timely communication of fills to clients.
· Receive orders through approved corporate channels (e.g., secure email) and ensure completion of the Securities Order Form (SOF) signed by the client prior to execution, as required by the desk’s controls.
· Maintain complete evidence packs per trade (order trail, signed SOF, execution records, confirmations, settlement instructions) and ensure proper record retention.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Compliance, Legal) on client documentation, disclosures, and approvals.
· Coordinate settlement and custody processes with the appointed global custodian (e.g.,Clearstream) and internal operations teams.
· Resolve fails, breaks, and reconciliations promptly; ensure accurate confirmations and post-trade documentation.
· Support periodic client reporting and respond to client queries within agreed service standards.
· Engage only with eligible institutional clients and comply with the Cross-Border Distribution / Solicitation procedure, including hard-stop rules.
· Ensure client eligibility verification and suitability documentation are completed prior to product discussion and/or execution as required by policy.
· Escalate red flags immediately (client eligibility concerns, unusual transactions, complaints, potential conduct issues) to Compliance and management.
· Support the build-out of the offshore desk by improving workflow efficiency, templates, and controls while maintaining strong governance.
· Contribute to the development and upkeep of policies and procedures, CSA/SOF enhancements and other operational day-today matters.
· 5-10+ years of relevant experience in fixed income trading/sales, treasury markets.
· Working knowledge of USD rates and credit products, bond market conventions, and execution.
· Proficiency in Bloomberg (or equivalent) for pricing, execution, and trade management.
· Solid understanding of custody/settlement flows and documentation standards for institutional markets.
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· High integrity, strong risk awareness, and comfort operating in a controls-heavyenvironment.
· Detail-oriented with disciplined recordkeeping and a strong sense of ownership for end-to-endoutcomes.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management across Front Office, Operations, andCompliance.
