Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records, update ledgers, and process transactions including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, such as invoice processing, debit/credit notes, and recording receipts and payments .
• Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, general data entry, and reconciliation of accounts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting .
• Administrative Support: Assist accountants and finance managers with scheduling, filing, document management, and other clerical tasks.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare financial reports, audit schedules, tax returns, and corporate secretarial documents as required .
• Vendor and Client Communication: Liaise with vendors, landlords, or clients regarding invoices, payments, and other financial matters .
• Ad-hoc Duties: Support the finance team with miscellaneous accounting tasks, including preparing payment vouchers, cheques, and sub-contractor billings .

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: Typically pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience .
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software; familiarity with bookkeeping and financial reporting .
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage sensitive financial information accurately and maintain confidentiality , maintaining records, and supporting the accounting team efficiently Indeed.
• Experience: Some roles may require 4-5 years of accounting experience, particularly in AP/AR or bookkeeping
