Job Description

Responsibilities


Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore River, with a mix of on-site work and the option for some work from home. The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support ULTRA-FLOW’s metrology systems, lubrication controllers, and internal applications. Daily responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring reliable data communication between controllers, measurement systems, and dashboards. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver robust, secure functionality. The developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and tools.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), using one or more modern languages (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Python) for production systems.
  • Background in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, integrating databases, and working with networked or IoT-style devices.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and translate technical requirements into reliable software solutions.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows, including testing and continuous integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, embedded systems, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work setting.
