About the Role::

Join our Software Engineering Team and play a key role in an exciting Operational Technology (OT) Integration Project. You'll design and develop backend systems that seamlessly connect industrial field devices to an advanced Digital Twin Platform, enabling real-time data ingestion, protocol translation, and reliable communication across industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities::

Develop and maintain backend services and middleware for OT/IoT data ingestion using OPC-UA, MODBUS, and MQTT.

Build scalable data pipelines to:

• Process and normalize telemetry
• Route real-time device data
• Support Digital Twin and 3D visualization platforms

Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot for:

• Code generation
• Unit testing
• Validation
• Development acceleration

Design and maintain automated testing frameworks covering:

• Protocol adapters
• Data transformation logic
• Integration endpoints

Collaborate with Unity Frontend Engineers and System Architects to design and implement:

• REST APIs
• WebSocket services

Participate in:

• Code reviews
• Technical documentation
• CI/CD deployments
• Software quality improvements

Troubleshoot field connectivity and industrial communication issues while supporting device commissioning alongside OT and hardware teams.

Must-Have Skills::

️ 2–5 years of Backend or Systems Software Engineering experience

️ Hands-on experience integrating PLC/SCADA systems with cloud platforms

️ Strong implementation experience with:

• OPC-UA
• MODBUS
• MQTT

️ Strong backend programming skills in at least one of:

• Python
• Node.js
• Go
• Java

️ Practical experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) for software development

️ Experience writing:

• Unit Tests
• Integration Tests
• Automated Test Suites

️ Experience working with:

• MQTT Brokers
• Kafka
• Event-driven systems
• Time-series data

Nice to Have::

Experience with Digital Twin Platforms

Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT) architectures

Understanding of OT Security, including:

• Network segmentation
• Secure protocol configuration

Experience with:

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to additional industrial protocols such as:

• BACnet
• DNP3

Education

Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Information Technology
