Hiring - New Product Development (NPD) Engineer – Secondary Process

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Management: Lead the development and optimization of secondary operations, including chemical passivation, electropolishing, heat treatment, and specialized surface cleaning.
• Documentation Excellence: Develop and manage technical documents such as Control Plans, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Flow charts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Validation: Execute trials and process qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) for secondary processes to ensure consistency and compliance with customer specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve surface-related defects (e.g., discoloration, oxidation, uneven finishing) through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Collaboration: Work with Quality, Production, and Procurement to drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives, focusing on cost reduction and quality yield improvement.

Key Requirement :

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Material Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in post-machining processes such as heat treatment, passivation, or electropolishing.
• Quality Standards: Solid understanding of QC inspection methods (cosmetic and functional) and ISO-based quality documentation.
• Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on surface chemistry and physical finishing techniques.
• Documentation: Experience in creating professional engineering reports, work instructions, and non-conformance tracking.

Working Location : Ulu Tiram, Johor
Working Hours : 830Aam - 615pm (Monday -Friday )

Pay: RM60,000.00 - RM84,000.00 per year
