Hiring - New Product Development Engineer - Plastic Molding In Medical
Focus: Material formulation and bulk ceramic processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Development: Lead the research, formulation, and testing of ceramic materials (e.g., Alumina, Zirconia, Silica) to meet application-specific mechanical, thermal, and electrical requirements.
- Process Optimization: Manage and refine sintering cycles, kiln management, and firing profiles to ensure consistent material density, minimize shrinkage, and prevent structural defects (cracking, warping).
- Product Validation: Execute trials for new ceramic components, performing material integrity testing and data analysis to validate design concepts.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Process Flow, Control Plans, FMEA, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality, and Procurement teams to resolve production issues and ensure a seamless transition from NPD to mass production.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives to reduce costs, improve throughput, and enhance product quality.
Key Requirement :
- · Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Material Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- · Technical Expertise: Proven experience in ceramic processing, specifically green body preparation and kiln/furnace management.
- · Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze material shrinkage, density, and structural integrity data.
- · Problem-Solving: Hands-on experience troubleshooting firing profiles and material defects.
- · Tools: Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and basic CAD software for tooling design.
Working Location : Ulu Tiram, Johor
Working Hours : 830Aam - 615pm (Monday -Friday )
Pay: RM72,000.00 - RM102,000.00 per year
