Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Delivery
- Safely transport food, beverages, catering equipment, and supplies according to scheduled delivery routes.
- Deliver products accurately and on time to company outlets, customers, suppliers, and event locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company delivery schedules.
- Handle urgent and special deliveries as assigned.
- Follow designated delivery routes while minimizing delays.
2. Loading & Unloading
- Load and unload goods safely to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery quantities against delivery orders and invoices.
- Ensure fragile, chilled, frozen, and dry products are handled appropriately.
- Secure cargo properly before transportation.
- Assist warehouse personnel during loading operations.
3. Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Check:
- Engine oil
- Coolant
- Brake fluid
- Tyre condition and pressure
- Lights and signals
- Battery
- Fuel level
- Refrigeration unit (if applicable)
- Report vehicle defects immediately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and outside.
- Arrange servicing according to maintenance schedules.
4. Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure food products are transported under hygienic conditions.
- Maintain appropriate temperatures for chilled and frozen products.
- Prevent contamination during transportation.
- Keep delivery compartments clean and sanitized.
5. Documentation
- Verify delivery orders before departure.
- Obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Record delivery times and discrepancies.
- Return completed delivery documents to the office promptly.
- Report damaged or missing items immediately.
6. Inventory Handling
- Check products before loading.
- Verify item quantities and product quality.
- Report shortages or damaged goods before departure.
- Return rejected items according to company procedures.
7. Customer Service
- Represent the company professionally during deliveries.
- Maintain courteous and respectful communication with customers.
- Handle delivery-related enquiries professionally.
- Escalate customer complaints to the supervisor when necessary.
8. Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Drive responsibly and defensively.
- Ensure vehicle licences, permits, and insurance remain valid.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow workplace safety procedures during loading and unloading.
9. Emergency Response
- Report vehicle accidents immediately.
- Follow company accident reporting procedures.
- Assist in resolving delivery issues.
- Respond appropriately to vehicle breakdowns and emergencies.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspection.
- Collect delivery documents and schedules.
- Load goods accurately and securely.
- Deliver products according to schedule.
- Verify deliveries with customers.
- Maintain communication with supervisors regarding delivery progress.
- Complete delivery records and reports.
- Refuel vehicle when required.
- Clean vehicle at the end of the shift.
- Perform post-trip inspection.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM (or equivalent).
- Valid Malaysian driving licence:
- Class D (Van)
- Class GDL (Goods Driving Licence) for commercial vehicles.
- Food Handler Certificate (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in logistics, food distribution, retail, or the F&B industry.
- Experience driving vans, 1-tonne, 3-tonne, or refrigerated lorries is preferred.
- Familiarity with local delivery routes and GPS navigation systems.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
