DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Section Head to prepare daily ingredients and food items in the menu specifications.
• Possess sound knowledge and skills on food preparation for different sections to produce cooked food with consistency and high quality.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality standards.
• Monitor food wastage and spoilage to maintain minimal food cost and in budget.
• Good attention to details and a passion to work with food menus and recipes.
• Prepares mise-en-place for ala carte menu.
• Ensure kitchen area cleaned, equipment and utensil in hygienic condition.
• Monitor stock inventory for section involved to complete Stock Card before transfer of shift.

QUALITICATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum SPM or Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality and Catering/Cookery/Culinary Health and Safety/Food Hygiene courses.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good teamwork, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
