We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutioning & BOM Specialist to support enterprise infrastructure solution design, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, infrastructure costing, and commercial proposal development. The ideal candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, Sales, Procurement, and OEM vendors to translate customer requirements into accurate infrastructure solutions and competitive commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for enterprise IT infrastructure solutions.
• Translate solution architectures into hardware, software, licensing, and support requirements.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Presales teams to ensure technically accurate solutions.
• Develop infrastructure costing models and pricing sheets.
• Support RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses by preparing BOMs and coordinating vendor quotations.
• Engage with OEMs and distributors to obtain pricing, validate product availability, and compare commercial options.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities while ensuring technical compliance.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and support bid review meetings.
• Maintain BOM repositories, pricing databases, and infrastructure documentation.
• Stay updated on new technologies, product lifecycle, and End-of-Life (EOL) announcements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of overall experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing infrastructure BOMs and solution costing.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including:
• Servers (Rack, Blade, Hyperconverged)
• Storage (SAN, NAS, Object Storage)
• Networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN)
• Firewalls and Load Balancers
• Virtualization platforms
• Backup & Recovery solutions
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Operating Systems, Middleware, and Database Licensing
• Security and Monitoring solutions
• Data Centre infrastructure, racks, cabling, power, and UPS
• Experience supporting RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
• Experience working with OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Cisco, Lenovo, NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure pricing, licensing, support contracts, and commercial models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas, costing models).
• Good PowerPoint presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
