Our client, a well-established company in the financial services industry, is looking for an experienced Flutter Mobile Tech Lead to join its technology team based in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

This role is ideal for a passionate mobile engineering leader with strong Flutter expertise who enjoys building high-quality mobile applications while mentoring development teams. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable mobile applications for both Android and iOS, working closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable and user-friendly digital products.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and deploying Flutter applications in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries, RESTful APIs, and backend services.
• Familiarity with state management frameworks such as Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, or similar.
• Experience working with mobile databases such as SQLite or Hive.
• Good understanding of Git version control and development workflows (e.g. GitFlow).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Flutter applications.
• Knowledge of native Android or iOS development is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and mobile performance optimisation skills.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mockito, Flutter Driver, or integration testing.
• Understanding of secure mobile application development and data protection best practices.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Flutter applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and support the mobile development team while promoting best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver high-performing mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements and design mock-ups into functional application features.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve application defects.
• Develop and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
• Ensure applications comply with App Store and Google Play platform guidelines.

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
