Our client, a well-established company in the financial services industry, is looking for an experienced Angular Front-End Tech Lead to join its growing technology team based in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior frontend engineer ready to take on a leadership role. You will lead the frontend development team while designing and delivering scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. Working closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams, you will drive technical excellence, mentor team members, and establish frontend development best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing Angular applications in a production environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Angular 15 or above.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Good understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Jest is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring development teams is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Angular web applications based on business requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the frontend development team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver responsive and scalable applications.
  • Translate design mock-ups into interactive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
  • Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Conduct testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
  • Implement unit testing to improve software quality and reduce defects.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify technical improvements, and promote coding standards across the team.
  • Stay updated on emerging Angular technologies and frontend development best practices.

Pay: Up to RM14,000.00 per month
