KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and oversee comprehensive data management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and implement database architectures, including data warehouses and data collection systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Manage ETL processes using tools like Talend, Informatica, and Oracle to extract, transform, and load large datasets efficiently.
• Utilize SQL and Python to automate data workflows, perform complex data analysis, and generate actionable insights.
• Lead projects involving Big Data technologies to handle large-scale datasets securely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data standards, and ensure data quality across platforms.
• Implement Linked Data principles to enhance data interoperability and integration across diverse sources.
• Utilize Tableau for developing interactive dashboards and visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Apply Agile project management methodologies to streamline workflows, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions on time.
• Provide leadership in data governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Mentor team members on data analysis skills, database design, and analytics techniques to foster continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; advanced certifications or relevant experience preferred.
• Proven experience in Data Management roles with a strong understanding of database design, Data Warehouse architecture, and Data Collection techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Talend, Informatica, Oracle databases, and Big Data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau for analytics visualization and reporting purposes.
• Solid knowledge of ETL processes, Project Management principles (preferably Agile), and Data Governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into strategic insights.
• Familiarity with Linked Data concepts and the integration of diverse data sources for comprehensive analysis.
• Excellent leadership qualities with experience managing cross-functional teams or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
