Your Mission

You will play a dual role to support the security posture of the Group while ensuring smooth day-to-day technical support for all users. You will work closely with the IT Security & Compliance Manager and serve as a key point of contact for internal users across IT security and general technical matters.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur reporting directly to the IT Security & Compliance Manager. Your work will span IT security operations (50%) and general technical support (50%), giving you broad exposure across the Group’s technology landscape.

What You’ll Do

As IT Security & General Technical Support Executive, you will contribute to both the security and operational continuity of the IT environment

For IT Security [50%]

• Assist the IT Security & Compliance Manager in day-to-day security operations and initiatives
• Support users with the deployment and adoption of IT security solutions across the Group
• Produce IT security documentation including user manuals, training materials and internal communications
• Supervise IT security solutions through monitoring, analysis, and remediation of identified issues
• Support IT security compliance activities including ISO 27001 certification, internal audits, and external audits

For General Technical Support[50%]

• Answer technical tickets for solutions deployed by the Group (e.g. Office 365) and assist users with day-to-day usage
• Escalate critical or complex tickets to the relevant product or technical teams with clear documentation
• Produce and maintain general IT support documentation including user manuals, training materials, and internal communications
• Participate actively in IT projects, contributing to planning, testing and rollout activities as required

Who You Are

• Passionate about IT security and technology, with a genuine interest in protecting systems and enabling users
• Natural problem-solver who enjoys diagnosing technical issues and delivering effective solutions
• Clear and confident communicator, ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users across all levels
• Highly organized and proactive, comfortable managing multiple open tickets and projects simultaneously across different time zones
• Detail-oriented, with a strong personal drive for quality and a low tolerance for recurring issues going unresolved
• Curious and eager to develop expertise in IT security, compliance frameworks and enterprise technology solutions

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum one year of professional experience; initial experience in IT Security is strongly recommended
• Familiarity with IT security tools, compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001), or enterprise IT environments is an advantage
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical responses or configurations
• Comfortable working with modern tools such as ticketing systems, knowledge bases, and collaboration platforms (e.g. Notion, Slack, Jira, or similar)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with users and stakeholders at all levels
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and document issues systematically

Nice to have

• Experienced with IT security tools (e.g. SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners)
• Familiar with Office 365 administration or other enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experienced in working with international or European companies
