Position: Java Developer

Employment Type: Permanent

Client: Maybank

Location: Menara Maybank, 100 Jalan Tun Perak, 50050 Kuala Lumpur

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while ensuring seamless integration with databases and APIs.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Follow best practices in software design, coding standards, performance optimization, and system architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience with strong proficiency in Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Java EE, SQL, relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle), and Git.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and secure coding practices is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
