We are looking for a confident, organised and energetic person who enjoys working with people and has strong leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable being the main point of contact during workshops, leading groups, coordinating instructors, managing workshop flow and training new instructors on our workshop activities and standards.

Key Responsibilities Workshop Leadership
- Lead and facilitate MurcyArt Experiences workshops at various offsite venues.
- Confidently explain workshop activities and demonstrate techniques to participants.
- Keep participants engaged, motivated and involved throughout the workshop.
- Manage the timing, flow and overall energy of the workshop.
- Ensure the workshop runs smoothly from setup to completion.
- Handle questions and provide assistance to participants when required.
- Ensure participants have a positive and memorable experience.
Instructor Coordination
- Coordinate and guide other workshop instructors during events.
- Assign responsibilities to instructors and ensure everyone understands their role.
- Ensure instructors follow MurcyArt Experiences' workshop standards and procedures.
- Support instructors during workshops and step in when necessary.
- Help manage the team during larger workshops and events.
Instructor Training
- Train new instructors on MurcyArt Experiences' workshops and activities.
- Demonstrate the correct techniques, workshop procedures and participant engagement methods.
- Ensure instructors understand how to prepare materials, conduct activities and manage participants.
- Provide feedback and guidance to instructors to help maintain consistent quality.
- Help develop and improve training materials and workshop procedures.
Workshop Preparation & Operations
- Assist with preparing materials and equipment before workshops.
- Ensure all required materials are ready and properly organised.
- Help coordinate workshop setup and cleanup.
- Check that materials and equipment are properly packed and transported.
- Identify missing or damaged materials and report them promptly.
- Help improve operational processes to make workshops more efficient.
Quality Control
- Maintain consistent workshop quality across all instructors and events.
- Ensure all workshops follow MurcyArt Experiences' standards.
- Observe workshop delivery and provide constructive feedback to instructors.
- Suggest improvements to workshop activities, procedures and customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Confident and comfortable speaking to groups.
- Highly organised and responsible.
- Able to take initiative and work independently.
- Good interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Comfortable coordinating and leading a team.
- Creative, enthusiastic and passionate about art or creative experiences.
- Previous experience in teaching, workshops, events, hospitality, training or team leadership is an advantage.
- Previous experience conducting art workshops is an advantage but not essential.
- Must be comfortable travelling to different workshop venues across Singapore.
- Must be available for weekend and occasional weekday workshops.
- Able to work in a fast-paced event environment.
