IT Project Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage enterprise-level IT projects within the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects while collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, budgets, and quality.
• Lead project governance, steering committee meetings, and status reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, IT governance, and organizational standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Oversee vendor performance and project deliverables.
• Drive successful project implementation and closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing enterprise or large-scale IT projects.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and team management skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking industry experience (MUST)
• PMP certification.
• Experience managing digital transformation or enterprise technology projects.
