Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Professional membership with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) or the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) will be an added advantage.

Good knowledge of quantity surveying principles, contract administration, cost control, and standard forms of construction contracts.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, or commercial management within the construction industry.

Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

Proficient in cost reporting, contract documentation, and Microsoft Excel or other cost management tools.

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates based on project drawings and technical specifications.

Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities to achieve cost-effective project delivery.

Administer contracts, including payment certifications, variations, contractual documentation, and correspondence.

Prepare, submit, and monitor progress claims in accordance with contract requirements.

Assess variations, change orders, and support the preparation of final accounts.

Monitor project expenditures and assist in budget control to ensure effective cost management.

Prepare commercial reports, cost analyses, and financial summaries for management review.

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters.
