Job Description (JD)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and facilities after cleaning to ensure Marriott standards are met.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of room attendants and housekeeping staff.
• Assign room cleaning schedules and prioritize room readiness based on occupancy.
• Monitor room status and resolve discrepancies with the Front Office.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Laundry, and Front Office to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Train, coach, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping associates.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and Marriott operating procedures.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Complete reports, shift handovers, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull housekeeping equipment throughout a shift. MMarriott Careers+1
