Role Overview

The HR Operations Associate will provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle for PIAS businesses in Singapore. This role ensures smooth HR operations, payroll administration, compliance with statutory requirements, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Verify new hire data and documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Leave Management: Administer statutory and company leave types (maternity, paternity, marriage, etc.)
• Payroll Administration: Support monthly payroll processing, including data collation, validation, and coordination with payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement
• Offboarding: Coordinate exit processes, documentation, and clearance
• Work Pass Administration: Manage applications and renewals for work passes
• Letter Generation: Prepare HR-related letters (e.g., visa letters, ICA PR documents)
• Reporting: Generate HR reports and provide data for ad-hoc requests
• Statutory Surveys: Coordinate and submit required government surveys
• Reference Checks: Conduct ex-employee background verification
• Process Improvement: Participate in HR initiatives and projects to enhance efficiency

Competencies & Requirements

• 3–5 years in HR Generalist roles, with exposure to payroll administration
• Strong team player with ability to work independently.
• Meticulous, organized, and process-oriented; able to meet tight timelines.
• Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and statutory contributions (CPF, IRAS, etc.).
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or brokerage industry is preferred.
