Event Executive

Salary: RM3,000 – RM5,000

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Ativo Plaza, Bandar Sri Damansara

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model (4 days WIO 1 day WFH)

Role Overview

SION is looking for an Event Executive to plan, coordinate, and execute events that support branding initiatives, marketing campaigns, and client engagements.

You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure events run smoothly from planning to execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organising experiences, managing logistics, and ensuring every event delivers a strong impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate corporate events, campaigns, launches, and promotional activities
• Manage event logistics including venue arrangements, equipment, vendors, and schedules
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to execute event concepts
• Liaise with suppliers, venues, and partners to ensure smooth event execution
• Assist in preparing event proposals, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues when required
• Monitor event timelines and ensure deliverables meet deadlines
• Prepare post-event reports and performance evaluations
• Maintain organised documentation for event planning and logistics

Who We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or related field (a plus, not mandatory)
• Experience in event planning, coordination, or project management is an advantage
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Bonus if you have:

• Experience organising corporate events, exhibitions, or promotional campaigns
• Vendor management and negotiation experience
• Basic knowledge of marketing or branding activations
• Experience managing event budgets and timelines
