Job Summary

BrandMe Associates is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our Event & Exhibition team. You will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and production layouts for exhibition booths, event structures, retail displays, roadshows, and custom-built projects. You will work closely with the Design, Project Management, and Production teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and ready for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings for exhibition booths, event setups, and retail display projects.
  • Convert design concepts into accurate fabrication and construction drawings.
  • Prepare layout plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing.
  • Coordinate closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Production teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
  • Revise drawings based on client feedback or project changes.
  • Ensure drawings comply with production specifications and site requirements.
  • Prepare material layouts and assist with production planning.
  • Conduct site measurements when required.
  • Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
  • Support project installation by providing technical clarification when necessary.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Spatial Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event, exhibition, interior fit-out, retail, or related industries.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or similar software is an added advantage.
  • Able to interpret design drawings and convert them into production-ready technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of exhibition booth construction and fabrication processes is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
  • Willing to travel or work on-site when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
