About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Software Tester to join our growing technology team. You will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive manual testing, defect management, API validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and system requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, End-to-End (E2E), and UAT.
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test execution reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and testing best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to improve test case creation, documentation, and defect analysis.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prefer immediate joiner
• 3–5 years of experience in Manual Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• End-to-End (E2E) Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking tools.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working directly with end users at customer sites.

AI Knowledge (Mandatory)

• Practical experience using AI-assisted testing tools.
• Able to use AI to generate test cases, improve documentation, assist in defect analysis, and enhance testing productivity.
• Familiar with modern AI productivity tools for software quality assurance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Healthcare, HIS, EMR, EHR, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Insurance, or other Healthcare applications.
• SQL and database testing experience.
• ISTQB/MSTQB certification is an added advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
