Technical Support Graduate Trainee

As a Technical Support Graduate Trainee, you will work closely with experienced Technical Support Engineers while developing expertise in vehicle diagnostics, technical escalation processes, dealer support, and emerging automotive technologies including electrification and digital diagnostics.

What awaits you?

• Provide technical support to BMW dealers through dealer visits and technical reporting systems.
• Assist dealers in troubleshooting and resolving vehicle technical issues.
• Support the escalation of critical technical, assembly, and parts-related issues to BMW AG and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and communicate technical bulletins, campaigns, and service updates.
• Participate in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with dealer technicians.
• Support customer complaint resolution and warranty-related technical enquiries.
• Monitor dealer compliance with BMW technical and service standards.
• Assist in tracking technical campaigns and investigating product quality concerns.
• Support the rollout of Aftersales systems, tools, and processes across the dealer network.
• Gain exposure to emerging vehicle technologies, including electrification and digital diagnostics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vehicles used for sales and marketing activities meet BMW technical standards.
• Learn BMW's technical support, escalation, and dealer communication processes while contributing insights from the field.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Automotive internship or technical exposure is an advantage.
• Strong interest in automotive technology, vehicle diagnostics, and premium mobility solutions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and dealer networks.
• Willingness to travel for dealer visits across Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
