Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an air freight export team of approximately 17 to 20 employees.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations across sales, finance, commercial, and operational matters.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of operational issues.
• Train, develop, and lead the team to support departmental growth and business expansion.
• Ensure effective use and compliance with the CargoWise One system.
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, corrective action reports, and 8D reports.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and payment processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure all shipment documentation, including invoices, shipping documents, permits, and corrective action reports, is completed and uploaded accurately and on time.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement initiatives to improve service quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Act as the key liaison between departments to ensure the air export process is managed smoothly from shipment arrangement through to completion.
• Handle escalations and resolve service, operational, and documentation-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or air export customer service.
• Strong knowledge of air freight export processes, documentation, and industry practices.
• Proven experience managing and developing an operational or customer service team.
• Proficient in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office applications.
• Singaporeans only.
