Quant Trader - Singapore - HFT Firm | Up to $450,000 USD

I'm working with a leading quantitative trading firm that is actively expanding its presence in Singapore. We've already supported them in building out their AI and technology teams, and they're now turning their focus to the trading side of the business, looking to add exceptional Quant Traders to the team.

You'll take ownership of systematic strategies across global markets – from research and development through to live execution and P&L. Working with large-scale datasets, you'll apply statistical modelling, machine learning, and quantitative methods to find and capture alpha, with the incoming Senior Trader as a close partner throughout.

What the role demands

• 2-5 years of experience in quantitative or systematic trading, ideally within HFT, market making, or prop trading.
• Strong grasp of market microstructure, statistics, and probabilistic thinking.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for research and strategy development.
• A track record of independent PnL generation or meaningful contribution to a trading desk.

What you'll be doing

• Research, build, and deploy systematic trading strategies across global markets.
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to large-scale datasets to identify alpha opportunities.
• Take ownership of strategy development, execution, and P&L across your designated asset classes.
• Work closely with the incoming Senior Trader and engineering teams to sharpen models and execution quality.
• Help shape the culture and direction of a desk that's still being built.
