Position Summary

The Clinical Specialist is a professional-level role responsible for providing specialized clinical and technical support for advanced interventional medical devices across public and private hospitals in Singapore.

This position requires clinical expertise, product knowledge, regulatory awareness, and independent stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals. The role contributes directly to clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and commercial performance.

High-performing individuals may be considered for progression into commercial leadership roles based on performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Clinical & Technical Support

·        Provide independent on-site technical support during interventional procedures ( Interventional Radiology, Operating Theatre).

·        Deliver real-time procedural product guidance to physicians and nursing teams.

·        Ensure optimal device usage in accordance with product IFU, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.

·        Identify and troubleshoot technical or procedural issues during cases.

2. Clinical Education & Stakeholder Engagement

·        Conduct structured product demonstrations and professional in-service training sessions.

·        Develop training materials and support clinical education initiatives.

·        Engage with key hospital stakeholders including specialists, nurses, and procurement teams.

·        Support pre-procedure planning discussions with physicians when required.

3. Regulatory & Quality Compliance

·        Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and hospital governance standards.

·        Prepare detailed product complaint reports and adverse event documentation.

·        Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs departments on investigation and follow-up.

·        Maintain accurate traceability documentation for supported cases.

4. Commercial & Strategic Support

·        Collaborate with Sales Managers on account development strategies.

·        Provide clinical insights to support tender submissions and account penetration.

·        Support evaluation trials and product conversions.

·        Monitor and provide feedback on competitor device usage and market trends.

Qualifications & Professional Requirements

·        Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or related healthcare discipline.

·        Relevant clinical experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Operating Theatre, or medical device clinical support.

·        Strong understanding of interventional procedural workflow and sterile protocols.

·        Ability to independently conduct professional product presentations and training sessions.

·        Familiarity with complaint reporting processes and regulatory compliance standards.

·        Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

·        Willingness to travel locallyto support multiple healthcare institutions.
