Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QA Engineer role based in Greater Johor Bahru. The QA Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software systems and internal tools. Responsibilities include performing manual testing, tracking defects, collaborating with development and product teams to resolve issues, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes and standards. The role involves participating in test planning, regression testing, and release validation, as well as contributing to continuous improvement of testing practices and documentation. The QA Engineer will also help analyze root causes of quality issues and propose preventive measures.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Quality Assurance, including understanding of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in measurment methodologies across different phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Ability to use defect tracking tools and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and document issues clearly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to work in a structured manufacturing and technology environment.
