Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable In-House Facilities Assistant to join our maintenance team. You will play a key role in ensuring our workspace, equipment and daily physical operations run smoothly and safely.
What you’ll do:
Carry out basic maintenance on equipment and machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and simple preventive upkeep.
Assist with minor troubleshooting and repairs, and coordinate with external vendors for more complex issues.
Perform routine facility inspections to identify and report defects, wear and tear, safety hazards, and housekeeping issues.
Clean indoor air-conditioning condenser filters and dirt traps regularly to ensure efficient system operation.
Support external contractors (e.g. pest control, cleaning, HVAC, and electrical) by escorting and monitoring their work on-site.
Receive and check incoming goods to ensure quantities and conditions are accurate.
Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman work where appropriate.
Manage the maintenance spare parts store, including stock replenishment, inventory control, and issuing parts to relevant departments.
Assist in monitoring utility systems such as lighting, air-conditioning, compressed air, water supply, and drainage, and report any abnormalities promptly.
Support the upkeep of warehouse and office facilities, including doors, locks, shelving, and other building infrastructure.
Assist in setting up, relocating, and installing equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
What we’re looking for:
A practical and handy person with hands-on experience using tools.
Comfortable with physical work and basic repair tasks
Detail-oriented and proactive, especially when checking goods and equipment
Fresh graduates with a Nitec qualification in Engineering are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
