About the Talent Venture Programme
- The Talent Venture Programme (TVP) supports persons with disabilities in developing sustainable micro-businesses as an alternative pathway to economic participation. Participants will receive structured training, mentorship, business coaching, market exposure and access to relevant industry partners.
Role Overview
- The Programme Manager will lead the end-to-end planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the Talent Venture Programme. This is a hands-on role that involves managing the participant journey, coordinating trainers and mentors, and cultivating ecosystem partnerships to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable ventures.
- This is a 3-year contract role, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role, subject to programme needs, funding and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Planning and Delivery
- Plan and manage the end-to-end delivery of the Talent Venture Programme, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, mentorship, venture development, scheduling, budget management and post-programme support.
- Work with trainers and subject-matter experts to develop practical, accessible and relevant learning content.
Participant and Venture Support
- Guide and monitor participants’ progress in identifying viable business ideas and developing realistic business and implementation plans.
- Coordinate appropriate accommodations, coaching and tailored support for participants.
- Facilitate access to mentors, industry practitioners, professional services and potential customers.
Partnerships and Ecosystem Development
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, government agencies, community organisations, educational institutions, mentors and funders.
- Identify opportunities for participants to test, showcase and sell their products or services.
- Recruit, coordinate and engage suitable trainers, mentors, volunteers and ecosystem partners.
Programme Operations and Governance
- Manage programme budgets, procurement, vendor coordination, documentation and administrative requirements.
- Ensure programme activities comply with organisational policies, funding requirements and relevant governance standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth programme execution.
Impact Measurement and Reporting
- Track programme outcomes, participant progress, preparation of programme reports, stakeholder updates, identification of impact stories and venture development milestones.
- Gather feedback from participants, mentors, trainers and partners to improve programme delivery.
- Document key processes, SOPs, learning points and success factors into a programme playbook.
Requirements (Must Have)
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in programme management, entrepreneurship development, business incubation or social impact.
- Demonstrated experience managing programmes, projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Good understanding of basic business concepts, including business models, budgeting, marketing, sales and operations.
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small and dynamic team.
- Willing to support occasional evening or weekend programme activities.
Good to Have
- Experience in entrepreneurship, business incubation, micro-enterprise development or running a small business.
- Experience working in the disability, social service, education or community development sectors.
- Familiarity with inclusive practices, accessibility and reasonable accommodations.
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement.
- Experience managing or supervising a small team.
