Job Description & Requirements: 
Stamford Social is looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our front of house operations. This role will help lead service across breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring the team delivers smooth operations, strong service standards, and genuine hospitality throughout the day. You will work closely with management to support service flow, team performance, shift organisation, guest satisfaction, and operational readiness. This role is ideal for someone who combines leadership presence with a practical, team-first approach on the floor.

Key requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality concept

Strong understanding of front of house service standards and daily operational flow

Confident leading shifts, motivating staff, and maintaining team discipline

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Comfortable handling guest feedback and service recovery professionally

Able to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts as required

Key responsibilities

Support and lead day-to-day front of house operations during service

Take ownership of shift execution, service standards, and team coordination

Assist with station planning, floor coverage, briefings, handovers, and daily reporting

Monitor service flow and step in where needed to keep operations efficient and guest-focused

Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery in a calm and professional manner

Support training, coaching, and development of the service team

Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and compliance with company SOPs and operational standards

Work closely with management to help build a strong culture and a successful opening team
