Role Description This is a full-time Network Engineer role based in Skudai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and related hardware. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and ensuring network security in line with best practices and customer requirements. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients on solution design, deployment, and post-implementation support, as well as preparing documentation such as network diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures. The Network Engineer will also assist in evaluating new technologies, supporting pre-sales activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of networking and cybersecurity solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including planning, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to manage day-to-day operations and resolve network incidents efficiently.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement secure configurations, monitor threats, and support cybersecurity solutions.
• Candidates should have knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs), TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Candidates should have experience with enterprise networking and security products; exposure to brands such as Aruba, HPE, A10, or similar vendors is an advantage.
• Candidates should demonstrate good documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a high-performance, customer-focused environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Network+, security-related certifications) and a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are beneficial.
