About the Role

Naj N Belle Cafe is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Interns to join our culinary team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates pursuing Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related fields to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment.

As a Kitchen Intern, you will work alongside experienced chefs and kitchen staff, learning food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, food safety standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Support chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment.
• Learn proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Help with plating and food presentation when required.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• Passion for cooking and the food industry.
• Willing to learn and take initiative.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to commit to the internship period required by your institution.
