Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Sales Support

• Develop a thorough understanding of customer RFQs, technical specifications, and application requirements to accurately identify customer needs
• Evaluate customer requirements and propose technically sound, commercially viable, and competitive Beckhoff solutions
• Maintain a high level of technical competency on Beckhoff products, technologies, software, and industry applications through continuous learning and training
• Provide timely and accurate technical support to the Sales Team during pre-sales activities, including product selection, solution design, quotations, and technical clarifications
• Conduct market, competitor, and SWOT analyses to support business development initiatives and sales strategy planning
• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers to identify opportunities, address customer challenges, and support achievement of sales targets
• Assist customers and internal stakeholders in troubleshooting product-related issues, order-related concerns, and application inquiries
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, solution proposals, presentations, and supporting materials for customers
• Serve as a reliable technical resource and maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams

2. Operations & Administrative Sales Support

• Coordinate efficiently with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Sales departments to ensure timely processing of customer purchase orders, deliveries, invoicing, and related documentation
• Review pending orders, delivery schedules, and customer requests proactively to ensure on-time fulfillment and excellent customer experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in D365, CRM, and other company systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness at all times
• Generate and submit monthly sales, order, forecast, and performance reports accurately and within established deadlines
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels

3. Teamwork & Professional Conduct

• Work collaboratively across Sales, Technical Support, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Management teams to achieve company objectives
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment in executing assigned responsibilities
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in industrial automation sales support, technical support, application engineering, or related roles will have an advantage.
• Good understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, motion control, industrial networking, and machine automation concepts.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian automation market and industry trends is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• High attention to detail with strong administrative discipline and commitment to accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, ERP systems (D365 preferred), and reporting tools.
