A Metrology Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measurement systems and inspection equipment used in manufacturing or quality environments. The role involves developing and maintaining calibration procedures, performing equipment validation, and analyzing measurement data to support product quality and compliance with standards such as ISO or customer requirements. They work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot measurement issues, improve inspection methods, and ensure all tools and instruments are properly calibrated and traceable. The role also includes managing measurement system analysis (MSA), gauge R&R studies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
