Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Electrical Engineer role based in Petaling Jaya. The Mechanical Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems for building and refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing electrical layouts and calculations, coordinating power distribution plans, and supporting mechanical and electrical integration with the overall design. The role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors, performing site inspections, resolving technical issues, and contributing to project documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Electrical Design and application of Electricity principles in building systems.
• Core Electrical Engineering competencies, including system analysis and circuit design.
• Experience with Power Distribution planning and implementation for commercial or residential projects.
• Knowledge of Power Systems, including load calculations, protection, and reliability considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and relevant engineering regulations.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and basic CAD tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in construction, refurbishment, or design-and-build environments is an advantage.
