Your overall role and responsibilities are as follows:

• A strong pillar of support for account teams and senior team members
• Active participant in internal initiatives
• A key support for teams, colleagues, client, and company initiatives
• A key support in the research and account administration

On a day-to-day basis, you will engage in any of the following activities:

1.    Client Relationships

• Build and maintain strong client relationships and deputise senior Consultants
• Provide communications support to clients
• Manage the day-to-day communications on the account, where necessary
• Support the planning process

2.    Account Servicing

• Work under guidance to deliver exceptional client service
• Support the implementation of the client’s plans and programmes
• Participate in client meetings where appropriate
• Initiate responsibility on account management and workstreams
• Play an active role and show strong initiative in account support
• Handle media monitoring on accounts

3.    Media, Social Media, and Stakeholder Relations and Overall Content Development

• Demonstrate a keen interest in understanding the overall media (mainstream and online), social media, influencer, and blogger landscape
• Demonstrate a keen interest in developing media/social media relationships and is learning to handle reporters
• Develop interesting and engaging pitches and content, under guidance, and successfully places stories with reporters / bloggers / influencers
• Develop and maintain media / blogger lists and distributes client content / materials
• Develop stakeholder contacts

4.    New Business

• Plays a supporting role in the development of proposals, including content and logistics
• Produce insightful and analytical research to prepare the senior team for new business meetings, pitches, and presentations

5.    Team administration and support

• Preparation of all client-related documents such as minutes of meeting; reports; circulars, internal communication, etc., as and when required
• Co-ordinate meetings with clients / vendors / media, where necessary

Skills, Experience and Behaviors

1. Typically, up to 1-2 years of experience, ideally in communications or a related industry
2. Ability to complete tasks to a high standard under supervision
3. A good degree in a relevant discipline
4. A strong interest in business and current affairs
5. A positive work attitudes
6. Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
7. A self-starter
8. Able to multi-task and prioritise work streams
