Solar PV Technician (Petaling Jaya)

Timeless Green Sdn Bhd is a growing solar energy company - HQ in Petaling Jaya. We are looking for dedicated and reliable Solar PV Technicians who want to grow with us and build a long-term career in the renewable energy sector.

Whether you already have solar industry experience or are looking to further develop your technical skills, we provide ongoing training, hands-on project exposure, and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, servicing and maintenance of Solar PV systems, including solar modules, inverters, DC/AC cabling, combiner boxes and related equipment

2. Monitor daily solar energy generation performance and ensure system data is accurately maintained

3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for Solar PV installations

4. Prepare monthly maintenance and performance reports for solar sites

5. Carry out operation and maintenance activities for Low Voltage (LV) three-phase Solar PV systems.

6. Support installation, commissioning and repair activities when required.

7. Travel to project sites as needed.

8. Attend to emergency maintenance calls and standby duties when required.

Requirements

1. At least 1-2 years working experience in Electrical / Solar system

2. Possess a valid A0/A1/PW2/PW4 certificate from the Energy Commission (ST)

3. Familiarity with electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

4. Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Able to work outstation to other regional sites if required

8. Experience in rooftop installation, maintenance or repair is an added advantage.

9. Able to work and respond on weekends and public holidays if required

Education:

• STM/STPM (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Possess a valid A0/A1/PW2/PW4 cert from ST (Preferred)
