Fortune Passion Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support the company's continued growth. Based in Klang, this on-site role oversees all financial operations, reporting, and controls across our construction projects and corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the full spectrum of financial accounting, reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.

- Prepare and present accurate management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analysis to senior management.

- Oversee project costing, budgeting, and cost control across construction projects.

- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards (MFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements (LHDN, SST, EPF, SOCSO).

- Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.

- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and processes to safeguard company assets.

- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

- Support tender costing, contract review, and cash flow planning for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MICPA).

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/controller role, preferably in the construction or property development industry.

- Strong knowledge of MFRS, taxation, and statutory compliance in Malaysia.

- Experience with project/contract costing and construction accounting is highly advantageous.

- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

- Able to work on-site in Klang, Selangor.
