Job Summary

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in daily accounting and administrative functions. This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial operations, accounting processes, reporting, and documentation within a logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and filing financial documents and accounting records.
• Support invoice verification, data entry, and document reconciliation.
• Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and records.
• Organize and archive finance-related documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial documentation.
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related documentation.
• Support audit preparation by organizing required records and supporting documents.
• Carry out other duties and projects assigned by the Finance Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Internship period of at least 20 weeks (preferred).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

Pay: RM750.00 per month
