Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing

• Conduct routine sampling and laboratory tests to verify product quality and safety.
• Record and analyse test results, flagging any non conformities for immediate action.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain batch records, test logs, and quality documentation in line with SOPs and audit needs.
• Support HACCP and GMP practices by ensuring paperwork and traceability are up to date.

Production Support & Improvement

• Work alongside production to resolve quality issues and perform root cause checks for non conformances.
• Help update SOPs and suggest practical process changes to reduce rework and waste.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in QA/QC within food manufacturing or the food and beverage sector.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of Food Science principles and basic laboratory testing methods.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, food safety practices, sampling, and inspection techniques.
• Able to maintain clear documentation and use basic MS Office tools for records and reports.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong attention to detail and a practical mindset for working on the production floor.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work with production and suppliers.
• Problem solving attitude and willingness to learn routine lab procedures and quality systems.
