Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Construction

We are a growing construction company in Singapore seeking a dedicated and motivated Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. If you have a passion for construction, strong commercial acumen, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.

• Evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare and manage subcontract agreements.

• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and final accounts.

• Verify subcontractor and supplier progress claims.

• Track project budgets and cost forecasts.

• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow projections.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contract requirements.

• Assist in procurement and material sourcing.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry.

• Good knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and tendering procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and quantity surveying software.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in marine, civil engineering, infrastructure, or building construction projects.

• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and contract administration.
