APPLICATION ENGINEER

About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and result-oriented Application Engineer to join our team. The role involves the design, development, and maintenance of efficient code, with hands-on experience in PLC programming. The position also includes executing technical support activities, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring project success while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

Responsibilities include conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), performing preventive maintenance on server equipment, and providing troubleshooting and production support at customer sites. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to address technical issues and ensure timely project delivery.

This position requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Constantly review and improve on existing codes
• Design, build and maintain efficient codes
• Communicate with all internal levels including customers and our contractors to clarify technical issues
• Co-ordinate with other disciplines and execute the project efficiently to meet schedule
• Perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in accordance to the requirements set out in the Vendor Tender document
• Perform preventive maintenance of Server Equipment
• Perform troubleshooting and production support at customers’ site

Qualifications

• Minimally Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science or other relevant fields
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on working experience in PLC programming

Technical Skills

• Experience in C# and MSSQL report programming
• Experience in network, firewall hardening and configuring
• Experience in CCTV, Card Access system implementation
• Has knowledge in Windows and Unix environment and MSSQL database
