Role Description The Barista role at ARTEASG is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving tea beverages and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Daily tasks include taking customer orders, explaining menu items, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized service area and workstation. The Barista also supports stock replenishment, basic food preparation, and equipment care, while providing attentive, courteous service to all guests. Collaboration with team members to manage peak service periods and uphold hygiene and safety guidelines is a key part of this role.
Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests positively and handle inquiries or feedback professionally.
• Barista experience or skills in beverage preparation, with an interest in tea and dessert service.
• Effective Communication skills for clear interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability in Food Preparation, following recipes and hygiene standards for tea and dessert items.
• Basic cash handling skills and comfort working with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Prior experience in a café or food and beverage setting is an advantage, but motivated individuals with a willingness to learn are welcome.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous improvement.
