Role Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering telecommunications and data center projects within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timelines. The role oversees project planning, site surveys, installation, integration, commissioning, and customer acceptance while coordinating internal teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities include resource allocation, technical risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, progress reporting, and ensuring compliance with project standards. The Project Manager also supports customer engagements, resolves project issues, and drives continuous process improvements to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

1. To review the project plans, project scope and adjust required changes in it when needed
2. To studies various documents related to the project to help suggest techniques to improve the working and functionality of IT
3. Accountable for the creation, execution, and improvement of any telecommunications project.
4. To defines the assets which will be supportive in the application of the project work
5. Project manager makes sure that the project work is accomplished before or on the timeframe date.
6. Manage Planning, Survey (TSSR), Implementation, Acceptance as per agreed Budget and time lines for the Sites assigned him of the concerned Project.
7. Manage the activities for site Survey, Installation, Integration, and for Quality check randomly with their teams and with the customer as per agreed and locked international standards with the customer.
8. Ensure to meet the Time line of Project as per agreed PIP with the customer.
9. Manage and monitor their staff team for timely issuance of POs from the customer and submission of all desired reports in time to the customer.
10. Ensure to meet the target and close monitor the progress of Hardware installation along with looking after End to End media clearance and commissioning and integration of sites.
11. Looking after equipment processing & inventory management.
12. Providing technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client project from kick off phase through implementation.
13. Managing all the activities involve in deployment starting from attending to customer meetings, movement of teams, ensuring completion of sites, final reporting regarding Site implementation Plan and DPRs (Delivery &Acceptance) after work completion in every day to concerned management and the customer as per their prerequisites.
14. Preparing Quality Audit reports, DN validations and on-site acceptances.
15. Recognizing process deficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
16. Ensure project execution with responsibility for managing technical risks throughout the project.
17. Managing the best utilization of resources.
18. Providing backup assistance to field staff, their office staff and give timely solutions to run their project smoothly as per agreed Budget and time lines.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or service delivery within the telecommunications industry or data centre, including field deployment and installation oversight.
3. Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, microwave, fixed wireless, and copper technologies, as well as related equipment installation and testing procedures.
4. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites as required.
6. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service abilities.
7. Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
8. Flexibility to travel for meetings with clients, contractors, or off-site personnel as project needs arise.
