About the Role

We are looking for a BI Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to join our Analytics team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will support and maintain business intelligence applications, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents while working closely with the Senior BI Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for Tableau dashboards and reports by investigating and resolving incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data extracts, report performance, user access, and data discrepancies.
• Support Power BI dashboards and dataflows.
• Perform SQL queries and data validation to identify and resolve reporting issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Senior BI Lead when required.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLA timelines.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and report schedules.
• Follow data privacy and compliance guidelines while handling business data.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and data validation.
• Experience supporting BI applications in a production environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot reporting and dashboard issues.
• Preferred Skills
• Exposure to Qlik Sense or QlikView.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, AWS, or multi-source data environments.
• Experience in Tableau performance optimization.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical or commercial analytics is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Snowflake.
• Experience working in an SLA-driven support environment.
