Full Time Design Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 17,000 in Kee Safety Malaysia Negeri Sembilan - Maukerja

The Design Manager is responsible for leading the engineering design team, managing BIM and CAD resources, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering accurate, buildable, and cost-effective designs that meet client requirements and international standards.

The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation Teams, and the Global Technical Team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with Kee Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering and BIM Design team.
• Plan and allocate design resources across multiple projects.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardisation, and engineering best practices.

Engineering & Design

• Manage the delivery of concept, detailed, fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings.
• Review and approve engineering calculations, structural designs, and technical submissions.
• Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and optimised for cost, quality, and safety.
• Develop standard design details and improve design efficiency through BIM and modular design principles.

Project & Technical Support

• Provide engineering support during tender, design, procurement, installation, and project completion.
• Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Installation teams to resolve technical issues and deliver successful project outcomes.
• Attend client meetings and site visits where technical support is required.

BIM & Design Systems

• Manage BIM and CAD standards using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Ensure drawing quality, document control, and version management are maintained across all projects.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure all designs comply with applicable international standards, local regulations, client specifications, and Kee Safety engineering procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality assurance and technical governance across all engineering deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering design experience, including at least 3 years in a Design Manager role.

· Demonstrated experience working on international projects. Strong technical, leadership and project-coordination skills

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, commercial, or data centre projects is highly desirable.

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
